Complejidad del Putting-Out-System en Toledo y su jurisdicción (siglos XVII-XVIII)

    Existen ciertas diferencias entre los historiadores sobre si el sistema de Putting-Out-System o Verlagssystem tuvo mayor o menor incidencia en las relaciones laborales-comerciales de la industria del Antiguo Régimen en España. Unos autores han expuesto que rara vez se daba el sistema inglés de un comerciante capitalista que adelantara la materia prima a los laborantes para posteriormente recoger el producto acabado y comercializarlo. Otros se inclinan a que su incidencia tuvo un mayor peso en el desarrollo industrial castellano. Nosotros, con este artículo queremos exponer la complejidad que se da en las relaciones del mundo de la industria textil en Toledo según las escrituras de obligación existentes en los protocolos notariales en el Archivo Histórico Provincial de Toledo. Afirmamos que este sistema era muy usual en la industria sedera y lanera de Toledo, con la salvedad de que en lo que respecta a la industria sedera, casi no existía producción en el ámbito rural, sino que se concentraba prácticamente en la propia ciudad, mientras la lanera tenía mayor incidencia en los pueblos cercanos.

    Certain differences between the historians exist on if the system of Putting-Out-System or Verlagssystem had major or minor incident in the labor-commercial relations of the industry of the Former Regime in Spain. A few authors have exposed that rarely was giving himself the system englishman of a capitalist merchant who was advancing the raw material to the workers later to gather the finished product and to commercialize it. Others incline to that his incident had a major weight in the industrial castilian development. We, with this article we want to expose the complexity that is given in the relations of the world of the textile industry in Toledo according to the existing writings of obligation in the notarial protocols in the Historical Provincial File of Toledo. We affirm that this system was very usual in the silk and wool industry of Toledo, with the exception of which regarding the silk industry, almost production did not exist in the rural area, but it was concentrating practically in the own city, while the wool one had major incident in the nearby peoples.
