Inundada de armas, con unos índices alarmantes de delincuencia común, y unas luchas internas por el control del petróleo, Libia sigue hundida en el caos, dos años después del asesinato del ex coronel, Muamar el Gadafi. Peor aún, el verdadero poder reside en las cientos de milicias con objetivos políticos bien distintos: Desde la creación de un Estado islámico, la conversión del país al sistema federal, o simplemente la lucha por el poder de hombres armados y comunidades tribales que rechazan el abandono de las armas por desconfianza en las nuevas instituciones políticas. La agenda del país la escribe, hoy por hoy, las facciones islamistas rivales, los traficantes de drogas y de armas, y los grupos terroristas. Libia, mientras tanto, en el limbo; sin ejército y policía capaz de imponer orden y seguridad.

Involves in guns, with alarming rates of common crime, and some internal struggles for control of oil, Libya is in a chaos, two years after the Arab uprisings and assassinate of former Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. Not enough, the real power is hold in the hundreds of militias with very different policy objectives: The creation of an Islamic state, the country's conversion to the federal system, or just the struggle between the tribal and army’s forces to access to the power who reject drop the arms because they don´t trust in the new political institutions. Rival Islamist factions, drug traffickers and arms, and terrorist groups write the agenda of the country today. Libya, meanwhile, in stand by situation withouth army and police able to impose order and security.
