    El pasado 14 de noviembre, Marruecos acogió la II Conferencia sobre Seguridad de Fronteras, en la que veinte países del Magreb y el Sahel, junto con numerosas organizaciones internacionales, debatieron sobre la implantación de medidas efectivas para erradicar el terrorismo yihadista y el crimen organizado, que se expanden y multiplican por las vastas y porosas fronteras comunes. Tras la I Conferencia, celebrada en Libia en marzo de 2012, la reunión en Rabat ha supuesto un nuevo paso para incrementar la cooperación regional en este ámbito, como única solución para neutralizar estas amenazas que están socavando la estabilidad y el desarrollo de esta región limítrofe con Europa.

    On 14 November, Morocco hosted the II Conference on Border Security. At this meeting, twenty countries of the Maghreb and the Sahel, along with numerous international organizations, discussed the implementation of effective measures to eradicate jihadist terrorism and organized crime, which expand and multiply by the vast and porous common borders. After the first conference, held in Libya in March 2012, the meeting in Rabat has been a new step to increase regional cooperation in this area, as the only solution to neutralize these threats, which are undermining the stability and development of this region bordering Europe.
