Desde que la revolución de febrero de 2011 derrocara a Mubarak, la situación política en Egipto ha girado en torno al enfrentamiento entre los Hermanos Musulmanes y el mubakarismo sin Mubarak, principalmente representado por las cúpulas de las Fuerzas Armadas y del poder judicial. A cuya sombra se ha ido cobijando una heteróclita y poliédrica oposición movida por el adagio de que el enemigo de mi enemigo es mi amigo y dejándose querer como el laicismo anti-islamista, que propiciando concentraciones, manifestaciones y algaradas populares, ha acabado induciendo un golpe de Estado contra el poder legalmente constituido. ¿Y ahora, qué?

Since February 2011 revolution overthrew president Mubarak, the political situation in Egypt has turned around the confrontation between the Muslim Brotherhood and the mubakarism without Mubarak, mainly represented by the Armed Forces and the Judicial Power high ranks. Behind which, a heteroclite and multi-ideological opposition has been sheltering motivated by the ancient adagio: the enemy of my enemy is my friend, being left to want as the only political option that could face the Islamism and propitiating, by means of mass concentrations, demonstrations and riots, the coup d’État that has finally overthrew president Morsi and his legal government. And now, what?
