    Preveen Jha es un economista y militante marxista indio. Investigador y docentes del Centro Planificación y Estudios Económicos de la escuela de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Jawahalal Nehru (Nueva Deli). Ha publicado numerosos libros y artículos sobre transformaciones en el mundo del trabajo, migraciones y educación en India. Durante las últimas décadas se ha volcado fuertemente al estudio de la cuestión agraria global. Integra el equipo editorial de la publicación Agrarian South: Journal of Political Economy y es compilador, en conjunto con Sam Moyo y Paris Yeros, del reciente volumen colectivo “Reclaming Africa: Scramble and Resistance in the 21th Century”. La siguiente entrevista se realizó en el marco del Instituto de Formación en Estudios Agrarios del Sur (ASTI por sus siglas en inglés), organizado por la Red del Sur Agrario y llevado a cabo en la ciudad de Harare (Zimbabwe) durante los meses de octubre y noviembre de 2018.

    Praveen Jha is an Indian Marxist economist and militant. Researcher and teacher of the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, School of Social Sciences of the Jawahalal Nehru University (New Deli). He has published numerous books and articles on labour transformations, migration and education in India. During the last decades he has turned strongly to the study of the global agrarian question. He is member of the editorial board of Agrarian South: Journal of Political Economy and is a compiler, together with Sam Moyo and Paris Yeros, of the recent collective volume "Reclaming Africa: Scramble and Resistance in the 21st Century". The following interview was conducted during of the Agricultural South Training Institute (ASTI), organized by the Agrarian South Network and carried out in the city of Harare (Zimbabwe) during the months of October and November 2018
