La reprobación en los estudiantes de la licenciatura en contaduría de la uacya-uan en las materias de contenido matemático

    Hoy en la Unidad Académica de Contaduría y Administración (UACyA) de la Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit (UAN) de México se ofertan cuatro Licenciaturas, siendo la de   Contaduría, con 929 estudiantes la que mantiene la mayor parte de la currícula. El rezago de reprobación que existe tiene un índice alto, de acuerdo a los datos que se tienen emitidos por el SADCE, que es el  programa que tiene la información de los estudiantes de la Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit, se encuentra por encima del 30% en lo general, mostrando un alto índice de reprobación en aquellas unidades de aprendizaje que se encuentran contenidos en los planes de estudio de los 4 programas de licenciatura, que oferta de la UACyA-UAN, las cuales  implican cálculo matemático, por lo que presume cierto  rechazo de estudiantes al contenido matemático y por ende los lleve a la reprobación en las materias que incluyen dicho contenido.

    Como objetivo se planteó la identificación de las materias y los factores que influyen con el correcto desarrollo de conocimientos matemáticos y de cálculo que traen como consecuencia la reprobación en las materias que incluyen dichas competencias en sus contenidos, en los estudiantes que cursan la licenciatura en Contaduría de la UACyA de la UAN México, que puedan contribuir al establecimiento de estrategias para la disminución del grave problema de reprobación.

    Para ello se llevó a cabo la investigación de tipo no experimental, transversal, y de forma cualitativa. Se aplicó  una encuesta al 100% de los alumnos de la licenciatura en Contaduría de la UACYA - UAN que se encontraron  en calidad de irregular por causa de no acreditación de materias  y de esta forma determinar las unidades de aprendizaje de contenido matemático, tanto de cálculo como de resolución de problemas que tengan la mayor frecuencia de reprobación, ciclo escolar agosto-diciembre  2019.

    Today in the Academic Unit of Accounting and Administration (UACyA) of the Autonomous University of Nayarit (UAN) of Mexico, four bachelor’s degrees are offered, with the Bachelor of Accounting, with 929 students holding most of the curriculum. The lag of reprobation that exists has a high index, according to the data that has been issued by the SADCE, which is the program that has the information of the students of the Autonomous University of Nayarit, is above 30% in in general, showing a high rate of failure in those learning units that are contained in the study plans of the 4 undergraduate programs, offered by the UACyA-UAN, which imply mathematical calculation, so it presumes some rejection of students to the mathematical content and therefore lead to failure in the subjects that include such content.

    As an objective, the identification of the subjects and the factors that influence the correct development of mathematical and calculation knowledge and which result in the failure of the subjects that include these competences in their content, of the students who are studying for a degree in Accounting of the UACyA of the UAN Mexico, which can contribute to the establishment of strategies to reduce the serious problem of failure.

    For this, non-experimental, cross-sectional research was carried out, and in a qualitative way. A survey was applied to 100% of the students of the degree in Accounting at the UACYA - UAN who were found to be irregular due to non-accreditation of subjects and thus determine the learning units of mathematical content, both calculation As for solving problems that have the highest frequency of failure, school year August-December 2019.
