Resumen de La investigación sobre la represión femenina y violencia sexuada en el franquismo: Evolución historiográfica

  Es de sobra conocido que la dictadura franquista destruyó violentamente todas las esperanzas de emancipación de las mujeres suscitadas por el régimen republicano y educó a la sociedad española en los ideales más reaccionarios. Las mujeres pasaron a ser, en el corpus ideológico nacional-católico del franquismo, esposas, madres y reserva de aquellos valores espirituales del tradicionalismo y el catolicismo que de manera indeleble habían contribuido a la forja del espíritu nacionalista español y la raza hispana. En este ensayo repasaremos las aportaciones más destacadas aparecidas en las últimas décadas sobre la represión efectuada por la dictadura sobre las mujeres.

  It is well known that the Franco dictatorship violently destroyed all the hopes of women’s emancipation aroused by the republican re- gime, and instead, educated Spanish society in the most reactionary of ideals. Within the National-Catholic ideological corpus of the Franco regime, women became wives, mothers and the reserve of the spiritual values of traditionalism and Catholicism that had indelibly contributed to the forging of the Spanish nationalist spirit and the Hispanic race. In this essay, we will review the most noteworthy contributions that have appeared in recent decades about the repression of women during the dictatorship.
