  • This is an overview of discourses, practices, changes and continuities in the ideas of Catalan-ness in the Catalan Countries from the 1960s until today after the turn of the century. The 1960s played a crucial role in the construction of new identity discourses and influenced the sociopolitical situation in the Catalan Countries at the same time that the national identity markers have undergone transformations.
