Resumen de Niveles de testosterona en sujetos deportistas frente a un grupo control y después de una competición

En este trabajo se han analizado los valores hormonales de testosterona en sedentarios y deportistas y las posibles modificaciones tras una competición. Se han seleccionado 15 sujetos deportistas sanos, atletas especialistas en carrera de fondo, con una media de edad de 51 años, 69 Kg como peso medio y 1,69m como estatura media. Su participación en el estudio fue voluntaria, junto a la de otros 12 sujetos sedentarios y de similares características socioculturales, que configuraron el grupo control, con una media de edad de 49 años, un peso medio de 83 Kg y una talla de 1,72m.
Los atletas además participaron en una prueba de competición, carrera de fondo de 18,5 Km. Se han comparado los niveles basales en ambos grupos, y en el grupo de atletas las variaciones de testosterona tras la competición.
Los resultados de nuestro trabajo muestran como no hay diferencias basales entre ambos grupos, y sí un aumento significativo tras la competición.

In this work the hormonal values of testosterona have been analyzed in sedentary and sportsmen and the possible modifications after a competition. 15 subject healthy sportsmen have been selected, specialist athletes in bottom career, with a stocking of 51 year-old age, 69 Kg like half weight and 1,69m as half stature. Its participation in the study was voluntary, next to that of other 12 sedentary fellows and of similar characteristic sociocultural that configured the group control, with a stocking of 49 year-old age, a half weight of 83 Kg and a size of 1,72m.
The athletes also participated in a competition test, career of bottom of 18,5 Km. The basal levels have been compared in both groups, and in the group of athletes the testosterona variations after the competition.
The results of our work show as there are not basal differences between both groups, and yes a significant increase after the competition
