  Durante la Edad Moderna los pleitos en el ámbitode la familia fueron abundantes y por causas muy variadas, pero en la mayor parte de las ocasiones motivados por intereses económicos. En este caso tratamos el surgido entre Jerónimo Zurita y los herederos de su yerno, Juan Pérez de Oliván, casado con su hija Juana. La razón: la diferencia de opiniónsobre una cantidad que el cronista aragonés había entregado al novio. La tutoría de los hijos del matrimonio se ve afectada por este litigio.

  During the Modern Age the lawsuits in the family area were abundant and for very varied causes, but in most of the occasions motivated by economic interest. In this case wedeal with the dispute between Jerónimo Zurita and the heirs of his son-in-law, Juan Pérez de Oliván, married to his daughter Juana. The reason: the difference of opinión onanamount the the aragonese chronicler had given to the groom the tutoring of children of the mariage is affected by this litigation.
