Resumen de Embarazo y maternidad infantil en México: derechos humanos en riesgo

  El presente artículo da cuenta del embarazo y la maternidad infantil desde un enfoque de derechos humanos, mismos que se transgreden a causa de la no debida actuación por parte del Estado y sus agentes frente a la violencia que se ejerce en contra de las niñas, pese a que se cuentan con instrumentos internacionales, regionales y nacionales que reconocen y garantizan sus prerrogativas. En América Latina, anualmente se dan dos millones de partos entre dicha población, situándose México a la cabeza de acuerdo con datos de la Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económicos (OCDE).

  This article describes the child pregnancy and motherhood from a human rights perspective, which are violated because of the failure of the State and its agents to take appropriate action against violence against girls, despite the fact that there are international, regional and national instruments that recognize and guarantee their prerogatives. In Latin America, there are two million births per year among this population, with Mexico leading the way according to data from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
