Actuación Enfermera en el Intervencionismo de Mama: Biopsias Asistidas por Vacío

El objetivo principal es evaluar las actuaciones de enfermería realizadas sobre las mujeres a las que, durante dos años, se les han practicado diversas técnicas de intervencionismo guiado por imagen y sus resultados con el fin de evaluar los diferentes procedimientos empleados y mejorar la calidad de la asistencia. Se describen las citadas intervenciones y analizan las posibles diferencias existentes en función de la técnica intervencionista realizada, así mismo se valora la idoneidad del protocolo de recogida de datos y aporta nuestra experiencia pues no existen muchos estudios de enfermería en este campo.
Se ha realizado un estudio descriptivo transversal, analizando la totalidad de pacientes biopsiadas mediante biopsia asistida por vacío (BAV) durante los años 2010 y 2011.
Resultados: analizadas 540 intervenciones, 258 (47,8%) por ecografía y 282 (52,2%) por estereotaxia. La edad media de las mujeres a las que se realizaron BAV por ecografía fue de 40,9 años frente a los 53,8 años de las sometidas a BAV por estereotaxia. Procedían mayoritariamente de consultas del propio hospital. La valoración positiva, por parte de la mujer, fue muy alta. El dolor no dependió del tipo de intervención y fue mayor en las 24 horas siguientes que durante el proceso. No hubo incidencias graves.
Conclusiones: Contribuir a la mejora de la calidad asistencial de las pacientes y a la comunidad científica, añadiendo nuevos ítems y retirando otros que no nos resultaron relevantes.

The main goal of this research is to evaluate both the nursing interventions which were performed on women who have been undergone various image-guided intervention techniques and their results. This research will be done in order to evaluate the different methods used and to improve the quality in health care.
The survey was conducted over the course of one year.
Description of the interventions, as mentioned above, and the analysis of existing differences are made in function of the interventional technique used. Furthermore, It is valuated the fitness data collection protocol and the experience of nursing team, because there are not many nursing research in this field.
A cross-sectional study has been carried out. It was analyzed all patients who have undergone vacuum-assisted biopsy (VAB) during the years 2010-2011.
Results: 540 interventions were studied, 258 (47,8%) by ultrasound and 282 (52,2%) by stereotactic radiosurgery. The average age of women underwent VAB by ultrasound was 40,9 in comparison to 53,8 of women underwent VAB via stereotactic guide procedures. Patients mainly came from the hospital outpatients department.
There were a lot of positive assessments made by women. The pain didn’t depend on the kind of intervention but it was greater in the following 24h than during the procedure. There were no reports of serious incidents.
Conclusions: To contribute to improving health care quality provided to patients and the scientific community. This means that new items can be added as well as others not relevant can be withdrawn.
