Análisis del protocolo de contención mecánica del Servicio Andaluz de Salud según las recomendaciones del Comité de Bioética de España

    A partir del análisis de las 16 recomendaciones del Comité de Bioética de España, recogidas en el documento "Consideraciones éticas y jurídicas sobre el uso de contenciones mecánicas y farmacológicas en los ámbitos social y sanitario", analizamos el protocolo de contención mecánica del Servicio Andaluz de Salud, encontrando que en general, ambos son partidarios de utilizar contenciones, aunque se esfuerzan en intentar hacerlo de forma controlada y con garantías, estando en la línea de las recomendaciones que establece el comité de bioética de España, salvo en todo lo referente al consentimiento informado, donde debe hacerse un esfuerzo por actualizarse.

    Based on the analysis of the 16 recommendations of the Spanish Bioethical Commitee, as set out in the document "Ethical and legal considerations on the use of mechanical and pharmacological restraints in the social and health spheres", we analyzed the mechanical containment protocol of the Andalusian Salud Service's, finding that in general, both are in favor of using restraints, although they try to do so in a controlled and guaranteed manner, being in line with the recommendations established by the bioethics committee of Spain, except in all matters relating to consent Informed, where an effort should be made to update.
