    El estudio que presentamos hace un rápido repaso sobre la presencia de los servicios sanitarios de las Brigadas Internacionales en Cataluña a través del análisis de los Hospitales de Vic, Mataró y S'Agaró. Hemos intentado reconstruir su funcionamiento y organización; y aproximarnos al personal sanitario, a las dificultades que soportaron; centrándonos especialmente en el caso de Vic. Una vez más, hemos reflexionado sobre los costes humanos de la guerra y de cómo la solidaridad internacional fue para los más débiles su única esperanza.

    The study that we present here constitutes a quick revision of the presence of the health care services for che International Brigades in Catalonia through the analysis of the Vic, Mataró and S 'Agaró Hospitals. We have tried ro reconstruct their operation, organization, get closer to the sanitary staff and the difficulties they put up with; focusing especially on the case of Vic. Once again we will reflect on the human coses of the war and on how the internacional solidarity was the only hope for the weakest.
