    En el presente estudio se realiza un análisis de los cambios producidos en el estuario de Tina Menor, ubicado en la costa Cantábrica y más concretamente en el municipio de Val de San Vicente. En concreto, se estudia la afección sobre la hidrodinámica y la morfodinámica sedimentaria, producida por diversas actuaciones realizadas en el estuario. La primera actuación, llevada a cabo con anterioridad a 1925, consistió en la construcción de un muro de aislamiento en la marisma de la ría. Posteriormente, se aprovechó el cierre anterior para la instalación de una planta de acuicultura en 1973. La modelización de la zona de estudio se realizó mediante modelos numéricos que describen la hidrodinámica y la tendencia evolutiva de un estuario. Tras la aplicación de los diversos modelos, se realizó un análisis comparativo del funcionamiento hidrodinámico del estuario en diferentes periodos y se estudió la tendencia evolutiva del estuario. Del análisis realizado se ha obtenido que la desembocadura y los canales mareales del estuario de Tina Menor han evolucionado presentando una sección más angosta y somera.

    Integral study of the changes happened in the Tina Menor estuary At the present study, the analysis of the changes happened in the Tina Menor estuary is made. The Tina Menor estuary is situated in the Cantabric coast, and exactly in the Val de San Vicente County. The affection in the hydrodynamics and sedimentary morphodynamic produced by some actions carried out in the estuary is studied. The first action carried out before 1925, consisted of in the construction of an isolating wall in the salt marsh of the estuary. Later, the previous closing was used to install a fish hatchery in 1973. The modelling of the study area was done with numeric models describing the hydrodynamic and the evolutional tendency of an estuary. After the application of some models, a comparative analysis of the hydrodynamic functioning in different periods of time was carried out and the evolutional tendency of the estuary was studied. Of the analysis carried out is obtained that the mouth and the tidal channels of the estuary of Tina Menor have evolved to present a section narrower and shallower than before.
