Resumen de L’Europa tra Asburgo e Borbone: il ruolo delle élites transnazionali nella sperimentazione delle forme di governo
The essay investigates the lines of research followed by recent historiography in its study of transnational elite within Spain and Italy in the period between the Habsburgs and Bourbons. Special focus will be on the members of nobles families such as the Trivulzio, Arese, Borromeo, Acquaviva d’Atri and of Caserta, Pignatelli, Gallio-Trivulzio in the State of Milan and the Kingdom of Naples.
