  INTRODUCCION: El lupus eritematoso sistémico (LES) es una enfermedad sistémica que puede afectar a cualquier órgano. Afecta sobre todo a mujeres en edad reproductiva y su índice de mortalidad es mayor que la población en general.

  EL objetivo de nuestro trabajo es divulgar conocimientos sobre la enfermedad y crear un plan de cuidados de enfermería.

  METODOLOGIA: Se ha realizado una revisión de los artículos encontrados sobre LES encontrados en las diferentes bases de datos y páginas web.

  RESULTADOS: Se han destacado las manifestaciones clínicas, criterios diagnósticos, tratamientos y cuidados de enfermería en el LES.

  CONCLUSIONES: Debido a la complejidad de la enfermedad se requiere de un grupo multidisciplinar de trabajo donde la enfermería juega un papel importante, debiendo estar especializada para poder solventar las complicaciones que surjan y ofrecer cuidados de calidad.

  INTRODUCTION: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a systemic disease that can affect any organ. It especially affects women in reproductive age and its mortality rate is greater than the population in general.

  The objective of our work is to disseminate knowledge about the disease and create a plan of nursing care.

  METHODOLOGY: We carried out a review of the items found on LES found in the different databases and web pages.

  RESULTS: Have been highlighting the clinical manifestations, diagnostic criteria, treatments and nursing care at the LES.

  CONCLUSIONS: Due to the complexity of the disease requires a multidisciplinary group of work where the nursing plays an important role and should be specialized in order to solve the complications that arise and offer quality care.
