La Provincia de Corrientes cuenta con amplia normativa ambiental a la hora de regular la generación y el uso de las energías renovables, aunque no ha aprovechado los benefi cios que trae aparejada la Tributación Ambiental. Ello es así, ya que si bien se disponen algunos benefi cios fi scales, en líneas generales no son sufi cientes ni apropiados, dado que la normativa delega esta tarea a los municipios o en el poder ejecutivo provincial, violando el principio constitucional de legalidad tributaria, o incluso se otorgan benefi cios a una empresa determinada

The Province of Corrientes has an extensive environmental regulation related to the generation and use of renewable energy, although it has not taken advantage of the benefi ts of Environmental Taxation.
This is so, since although some tax benefi ts are found, in general they are not specifi c or appropriates, given that the regulation delegates this task to the municipalities or the Provincial Executive branch, violating the constitutional principle of tax legality, or even they grant benefi ts to a specifi c company
