Resumen de Menor que una secta, mayor que una masa: la Multitud: En el primer aniversario del 15-M

  Este artículo intenta tres cosas. En primer lugar, insiste en replantear el concepto de “Multitud” tal como ha sido acuñado en los últimos años principalmente por Negri & Hardt en su trilogía del Imperio y en subrayar la especial relevancia del concepto para entender y explicar las revueltas populares desde la “Primavera Árabe” de 2011, al mismo tiempo que responde a varias objeciones frecuentes contra su uso. En segundo lugar, superficialmente trata de sugerir variaciones en torno al tema de que los grupos humanos fluyen, y de sus maneras de fluir; a un nivel más profundo, quiere ejercitar un género borroso y suscitar un rizoma. Por último, plantea la profundización de la Democracia como deriva previsible de la Multitud en dictaduras y democracias formales.

  This article tries to do three things. First, it insists on rethinking the concept of “Multitude” as it has been developped in recent years, mainly by Hardt & Negri in their trilogy of the Empire, and to emphasize the particular importance of the concept to understand and explain the popular revolts from the “Arab Spring” in 2011, answering also to some frequent objections against its use. Second, at a more superficial level, it suggests variations on the theme that human groups flow, and their ways to flow; on a deeper level, it wants to exercise a blur gender and to raise a rhizome. Finally, it sees and analyzes the deepening of democracy as a predictable trend of the Multitude against dictatorships and formal democracies.
