Severa/ basaltic sills of subalkaline-to-alkaline affinity are interbedded within the Upper Permian sedimentary rocks of the Anayet area (Huesca). The mineral assemblage is composed mainly of clinopyroxene (Ti-rich augite) and plagioclase. Their respective crystallization temperatures are 900-700gC and 1066-1027-C. This magmatism represents the transition from a compressive post-orogenic regime (characterised by the Lower Permian calc-alkaline magmatism) to an extensional tectonic regime (expressed later by the Triassic tholeiitic magmatism).
