    El artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación exploratoria en diferentes archivos chilenos que buscó identificar y categorizar los manuscritos filosóficos de la época colonial que estudiaban la filosofía aristotélica (siglos XVI-XIX). Se presentan primero algunas notas sobre el devenir del aristotelismo para poner en manifiesto el desconocimiento del desarrollo de esta tradición en Chile colonial. Luego se presentan, organizadas en cuatro categorías, las obras, sus autores, ubicación y tabla de contenidos, con la finalidad de ofrecer material suficiente para orientar nuevas investigaciones en el área.

    The article presents the results of an exploratory research in different Chilean archives. The goal of the article is to identify and catalogue the philosophical manuscripts on Aristotelian philosophy in the colonial times (XVI-XIX centuries).

    The article seeks at first to present some notes on the general development of Aristotelianism in order to emphasize the lack of knowledge about the evolution of this tradition in colonial Chile. Then, the works, their authors, the location and table of contents are organized in four categories (complete works, logics, physics, and metaphysics). The main purpose of the article is to provide a basic organization in order to guide new research in this area
