    El acervo musical infantil de los pueblos es parte de la historia y la identidad. Mantenerlo vivo es también tarea de los instructores de arte. Su preservación es uno de los retos que enfrentan los instructores de arte. Su tratamiento en la Educación Primaria permite que las nuevas generaciones se relacionen con ellas, disfruten de sus bondades, y que se transmitan de generación en generación, a la vez que contribuyen al desarrollo del sentido de pertenencia con la localidad. Para ello deben contar con los medios necesarios para realizar esta labor. El trabajo tiene como objetivo compilar las canciones infantiles creadas en la provincia de Las Tunas.En el proceso investigativo se utilizaron métodos: como la revisión de fuentes de información, la entrevista, consulta a especialistas y la modelación. Como resultados aborda las principales problemáticas que inciden en el desconocimiento de estas canciones, una fundamentación teórica que abarca aspectos generales aportados por las ciencias, que son básicas en el proceso de creación musical y que constituyen puntos de partida para continuar investigando sobre el tema. Permitió arribar a las siguientes conclusiones: se profundizó en el conocimiento de la música infantil, en el quehacer de los compositores de música infantil en la provincia, en las acciones desarrolladas para preservar este legado como patrimonio tangible e intangible

    The children’s musical heritage of the citizens is part of history and identity. Keeping it alive is also a task of art instructors. Its preservation is one of the challenges faced by art instructors. Its treatment in Primary Education allows new generations to connect and enjoy their benefits, maybe transmitted from generation to generation, while contributing to the development of the sense of belonging to the locality. For this, they must have the necessary means to carry out this labor. The objective of the investigation is to gather the children’s songs created in the province of Las Tunas. In the research process, many methods were used, such as review of information sources, interviewing, consulting specialists and modeling. As results, it deals with the main problems that affect the ignorance of these songs, a theoretical foundation that includes general aspects supported by the sciences, which are basic in the process of musical creation, that are starting points to continue researching on the subject. It allowed arriving at the following conclusions: it deepened in the knowledge of the infant music, in the chore of the composers of infantile music in the province, in the developed actions to preserve this legacy like tangible and ntangible patrimony
