El juego, como animación lúdica, es por definición, animación sociocultural. En consecuencia, el profesional que lo dirige, debe estar preparado para animar. Desde el punto de vista de la dirección, tiene que interiorizar su modo de actuación, a partir de un proceso formativo con un enfoque profesional pedagógico. En la presente investigación se aborda una de las problemáticas que inciden en la formación inicial de las futuras educadora de la Educación Preescolar, la relacionada con la animación de los juegos de movimientos. Este aspecto es vital para el desarrollo físico, psicológico y social de los niños de este tipo de enseñanza. Por esta razón, se trazó como objetivo la elaboración de actividades que permiten profundizar en la metodología para la dirección de los juegos de movimientos, desde la asignatura Educación Física Preescolar y su Didáctica, en la Licenciatura en Educación Preescolar. Para la aplicación de la propuesta se seleccionó, de modo intencional, una muestra formada por las estudiantes del tercer año del Curso Diurno de la Licenciatura en Educación Preescolar de la Universidad de Las Tunas. La misma se realizó, a partir de los objetivos del programa de la asignatura y los del año. Los resultados alcanzados fueron satisfactorios, reflejados en la calidad del aprendizaje, en el dominio de las acciones metodológicas, técnicas de animación, habilidades profesionales, generales y particulares.
