With this work we intend to highlight the importance of the inclusion of artificial languages, created for artistic purposes, in the fictional arguments of literary and audiovisual works. Secondly, we trace a tour through some of the most relevant linguistic designs, such as the Klingon, the Na'vi or the languages of Game of Thrones, the Dothraki and the Valyrian. Finally, we establish a distinction of those projects that, although they can not be considered as proper languages, acquire vital importance in the novels or films in which they appear.
