Resumen de La biblioteca escolar en la Web 2.0

El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la relación entre la biblioteca escolar y la Web 2.0. En nuestro país el uso de la Web social en las bibliotecas escolares es ya un hecho, especialmente a través del blog, la herramienta más extendida. Además existe una multitud de aplicaciones que permite a la biblioteca escolar tradicional convertirse en un espacio abierto y participativo, con el objetivo fundamental de acercar la biblioteca al usuario. En este artículo exponemos en primer lugar las características de la llamada biblioteca 2.0 y en segundo lugar pasamos a examinar el uso de varios servicios de la Web social en el ámbito educativo. En definitiva, mostramos el panorama actual de esta simbiosis tan productiva entre la biblioteca escolar y la Web 2.0.

The object of this article is to analyze the relationship between the school library and the Web 2.0. In this country the use of the social web in the school library is a reality, especially through the blog which is the most common tool. Furthermore, there is a multitude of applications that allow the traditional school library to become an open and participative space, with the central objective of bringing the library to the user. We shall first of all describe the characteristics of the library 2.0, and then examine the use of various services of the social Web within the field of education. Finally we shall show the symbiosis that exists today between the school library and the Web 2.0.
