Resumen de Educación para la movilidad no motorizada: sistema universitario de préstamo de bicicletas en la movilidad interior “el proceso educativo BiciCUT”

Cada día las ciudades del mundo, despiertan del espejismo que generó el paradigma de la automovilidad y sus múltiples externalidades, para apostarle a una movilidad urbana sostenible, incluyente y amigable con el medio ambiente, incentivando y promoviendo medios de transporte no motorizados, como es la bicicleta, la cual se viene convirtiendo en una alternativa eficaz para realizar desplazamientos que permitan alcanzar diferentes motivos como: ir al trabajo, estudio, ocio, entre otros. Los grandes campus universitarios no son ajenos a estas tendencias mundiales y al interior de sus centros escolares, se han implementado sistemas de préstamo de bicicletas. El objetivo de este documento es describir las estrategias y actividades en el proceso educativo del proyecto BiciCUT a partir de las diferentes corrientes y visiones educativas que permitan la implementación del sistema universitario de préstamo de bicicletas en la movilidad interior del Centro Universitario de Tonalá-Universidad de Guadalajara y generar nuevos hábitos de vida saludable, movilidad eficiente y sostenible, de educación vial y convivencia en el entorno escolar, que pueden ser replicados en el espacio público social de la ciudad.

Every day, the cities of the world awaken from the mirage generated by the paradigm of automobile and its multiple externalities to opt on more sustainable inclusive and environmentally friendly urban mobility. Thus encouraging and promoting non-motorized means of transport, such as bicycle, which has become an effective alternative to travel to achieve different reasons for example: going to work, study, leisure among others. Large university campuses are not indifferent to these global trends. Therefore, within their school centers bicycle loan systems have been implemented. The objective of this document is to describe the strategies and activities in the educational process of the BiciCUT project, based on different trends and educational visions. This permit the implementation of the university system of bicycle loan in the interior mobility of the University Campus of Tonalá- Guadalajara, as well as to generate new habits of healthy living, efficient and sustainable mobility, road education and coexistence in the school environment, which can be replicated in the public social space of the city.
