Existen diferentes visiones sobre cómo ha afectado el nuevo contexto geopolítico generado por las revueltas en el mundo árabe al terrorismo yihadista. Este trabajo analiza el desarrollo de algunos de los acontecimientos más significativos producidos en la región desde finales de 2010. Se llega a la conclusión de que las revueltas han debilitado algunos de los principales elementos de movilización terroristas, pero al mismo tiempo han generado un entorno de inestabilidad política y debilidad estatal que favorece la reproducción y actividades de este tipo de organizaciones.

There are different views about how jihadist terrorism has affected the new geopolitical context generated by the revolts in the Arab world. This paper analyzes the development of the most significant events produced in the region since late 2010. The conclusion is that the revolts have weaken some of the main elements of terrorist mobilization, but at the same time have created an environment of political instability and a Governmental weak that favors the reproduction and activities for this kind of organizations
