    Este artículo pretende explicar la historia y desarrollo de la Trama Haqqani en el escenario jihadista de Afganistán-Paquistán, su matizado alineamiento en diferentes períodos con los movimientos talibán y neo-talibán, la solidez de su implantación territorial, las saneadas finanzas del clan y el criterio localista que ha marcado su acción insurgente, para anticipar un posible papel clave de su poder en el proceso de estabilización de un Afganistán posterior a la retirada de la ISAF.

    This article looks into the history and development of Haqqani Network in the jihadi scenario Afghanistan-Pakistan, trough insights on its nuanced alignment with Taliban and neo-taliban movements along the time, its well-established bi-national presence, the clan sounded financial status and the localist view which has prevailed in its insurgent activity, in order to advance the possibility of a key role for the Network in the foreseeable stabilization process which ISAF withdrawal will trigger.
