    Egipto e Irán avanzan sólidamente hacia la normalización de sus relaciones. Este hecho es necesario para que Egipto recupere el papel regional que le pertenece, mientras que Irán puede romper su aislamiento internacional y negociar en torno a su programa nuclear y el fin de la guerra en Siria. No obstante, Egipto ha de ser capaz de regular cuidadosamente su acercamiento a Irán para no perder el apoyo necesario de otros actores regionales o globales.

    Egypt and Iran are thawing and strengthening their relationships. This is a necessary step to recover the traditional egyptian regional role, while Iran may break its international isolation and negotiate about its nuclear program and the end of the war in Syria. However, Egypt have to be able to regulate carefully their approach to Iran in order to keep the necessary support from other regional or global powers.
