    La obra poética de Elizabeth Siddal (1829-1862), también modelo y pintora de la Hermandad Prerrafaelita (PRB), fue ignorada por la crítica y los círculos artísticos de su época. Su relación con Dante Gabriel Rossetti, el gran poeta-pintor y fundador de la PRB, y el sensacionalismo alrededor de las misteriosas circunstancias de su muerte, son algunos motivos por lo que su perfil profesional y su carrera fueron oscurecidos, silenciados e infravalorados. No obstante, sus versos, no traducidos aún al castellano, están siendo recuperados e investigados por críticas feministas. Con este artículo pretendemos contribuir al conocimiento y la difusión de una voz poética intensa y original que ahonda en las voces quebradas femeninas

    The poetic work of Elizabeth Siddal's (1829-1862), also model and painter of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood (PRB), was ignored by the criticism and the artistic circles of her time. Her relationship with Dante Gabriel Rossetti, the great poet-painter and founder of PRB, and the sensationalism around the mysterious circumstances of her death are some of the reasons why her professional profile and career were obscured, silenced and undervalued. However, her verses, not yet translated into Spanish, are being recovered and investigated by feminist critics. We intend to contribute with this essay to the knowledge and the divulgation of her intense and original poetic voice that delves into female fractured voices.
