    El artículo describe el comienzo de la actividad industrial y comercial de la familia Sánchez Cuenca de Calatayud, desde el final del siglo XIX hasta 1922, junto con un análisis de la situación económica, social y comercial de Calatayud en ese tiempo, con especial mención a D. Hipólito Sánchez, quien creó un grupo de negocios, destacando como principal, la fábrica de su famoso jabón verde.

    The article describes the beginnig of the industrial and comercial activity of the Sánchez Cuenca family in Calatayud from the end the 19th century until 1922, along with an análisis of the economic, social and comercial situation of Calatayud at that time, with especial mención to D. Hipólito Sánchez who created a business group, the main one being the factory of the famous green soap.
