Resumen de Planificación y gestión del conjunto histórico artístico de Calatayud. Análisis de lo realizado y perspectivas para un futuro inmediato (1967-2017)

Después del ciclo de crecimiento urbanístico español que acabó con la bur-buja inmobiliaria, la reflexión, las políticas y la legislación pública han puesto el foco en la necesidad de rehabilitar los tejidos urbanos degradados y obsoletos de nuestras ciudades, reprogramándolos para generar nuevas oportunidades de una vida ciudadana más sostenible ambiental y económicamente, a la vez que social-mente integradora. Dentro de estas líneas de actuación, el gran reto de la ciudad de Calatayud es la rehabilitación de su Conjunto Histórico Artístico, a través de un proceso ordenado de rehabilitación urbana integral. Este proceso podría haber co-menzado con la redacción de los primeros estudios urbanísticos y la obtención de las primeras líneas de financiación. Es motivación de este artículo, analizar lo rea-lizado en materia de gestión del Conjunto Histórico Artístico de Calatayud desde su Declaración, para proyectar cuál puede ser la perspectiva de su rehabilitación y recuperación urbana.

After the cycle of urban growth in Spain that lead to the real-state bubble, reflection, policies and public legislation have focused on the need to rehabilitate degraded and obsolete urban areas of our cities, reprogramming them to generate new opportunities for a city life more environmentally and economically sustainable, as well as socially inclusive. Within these lines of action, the great challenge of the city of Calatayud is the rehabilitation of its Artistic Historic Center, through an orderly process of integrated urban rehabilitation. This process could have started with the drafting of the first urban studies and obtaining the first lines of financing. The motivation of this article is to analyze what has been done in terms of management of the Artistic Historic Center of Calatayud since its Declaration, in order to show what the perspective of its rehabilitation and urban recovery may be.
