  • An example of study about ancient pyroclastic flows deposits is shown in this papero Rhyodacitic pyroclastic flow deposits have been analyzed in the Permian Viar Basin, SW of Spain. They are associated with others volcanic and sedimentary rocks. Their origin is related with deposition of pumice-rich pyroclastic flows at low temperature. This kind of flows are thought as result of eruption column collapse.
