  • This book is full of typos, grammatical errors, and strange turns of phrase which make it difficult to take in the content. On the other hand, a substantial chunk of the book is dedicated to explaining "virtue ethics", a theory which has, judging by number of citations, attracted little interest from the profession. Even overlooking the poor editing, I could not recommend this book as an undergraduate textbook due to the lack of clarity of key definitions, and long passages of text with minimal structure.
