    El objetivo principal del Proyecto Soteria es predecir los fenómenos de envejecimiento que ocurren en la vasija del reactor y sus componentes internos de los reactores de agua a presión para garantizar una operación segura a largo plazo. Los resultados obtenidos en este proyecto permiten a los operadores de plantas de energía nuclear adquirir más conocimientos y herramientas para gestionar el envejecimiento de las centrales nucleares.

    The main objective of the SOTERIA Project is to predict the aging phenomena that occur in the reactor vessel and the components of internals of Pressurized Water Reactors to ensure safe long-term operation. The results obtained in this project allow operators of nuclear power plants to acquire more knowledge and tools to manage the aging of nuclear power plants.
