Resumen de ¿Realmente, es necesario modificar la Ley Orgánica de Libertad Religiosa?

Después de cuarenta años de vigencia de la Ley Orgánica de Libertad Religiosa, el objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar, sí realmente, es necesario aprobar una nueva Ley y, sí se dan las circunstancias políticas para que dicha reforma pueda realizarse, sin que nos lleve a un pretendido laicismo. El análisis se centra en algunas de las cuestiones que se han sugerido para que formen parte del futuro contenido de la nueva ley como la igualdad religiosa, la objeción de conciencia, los títulos competenciales en materia de libertad religiosa entre el Estado y la Comunidades Autónomas y los símbolos religiosos.

Forty years after the enter into force of the Religious Freedom Act, this study seeks to analyze the real need to adopt a new one and the political conditions for such a reform to be carried out, without leading us to purported secularism. The analysis focuses on some of the issues that have been suggested as a part of the future content of the new regulation such as religious equality conscientious objection, conflicts of jurisdiction concerning of religious freedom between the State and the Autonomous Communities and religious symbols.
