  • Resumen
    • Quality is commonly considered as a down-line ‘measurement’term or goal and yet experts believe that practically all of a product's cost and quality are committed by decisions taken during the design and planning stages. The paper introduces a design for quality model and associated techniques to support the introduction of quality-competitive products. The relationship between these techniques and other quality tools, and their connections with techniques in design for manufacture are also discussed.
