    Goya es una figura central del arte y tanto su figura como su obra fueron revisitadas durante el siglo XX desde diferentes disciplinas y por autores también diferentes. Vamos a presentar tres lecturas diferentes. La primera la aportan cuatro filósofos; la segunda, el compositor Enrique Granados; y, la tercera, el pintor Pablo Ruiz Picasso. Los filósofos nos dan pautas para comprender y ubicar al pintor y sus aportaciones e inquietudes.

    Granados muestra su interiorización de «lo goyesco» y una traducción musical de la obra de Goya y; finalmente, Picasso permite ver una forma de interiorización muy diferente de la que hace Granados. En todos ellos vemos la necesidad de volver a Goya con la voluntad de reencontrar en él aquello que da fuerza a la obra de arte y, a través de ella, a la vida y al pensamiento humano.

    We are interested in analysing the different lectures that, in the twentieth century, different philosophers and artists wrote about Goya. Why? Because Goya has been and important model for these autors to explain the meaning of the creative act in contemporary society. We are going to show three different readings. The first one is done by four philosophers; the second one by the composer, Enric Granados; and the third one by the painter, Pablo Picasso. The philosophers give us the framework to understand and place the painter and his contribution to art and his concerns. Granados embraces the concept of what it is «lo goyesco» and he makes a musical translation of Goya’s work and; eventually, Picasso allows us to see a form of internalization very different from the one that Granados does. In all of them, we see the need of going back to Goya with the will of finding in him what gives strength to the piece of work and through it, to life and human thought.
