Resumen de Daguerrotipos del Instituto del Patrimonio Cultural de España. Restauración de un retrato al daguerrotipo de 1844

En la Fototeca del Instituto del Patrimonio Cultural de España (IPCE) se conservan 10 daguerrotipos.
Destaca el retrato de una bailarina de la escuela bolera, con castañuelas, en formato de placa entera. Otro retrato está firmado por Lorichon y Jouque, en 1851. Y también es muy interesante el retrato de una joven, fechado el 13 de agosto de 1844, atribuido al daguerrotipista Manuel Herrero, que ha sido restaurado en 2015.
Los daguerrotipos son objetos fotográficos de alto valor patrimonial y sus eficaces sistemas de montaje han favorecido su conservación. La intervención restauradora del vidrio y sellado del daguerrotipo SB-9996, supone una puesta en valor de la obra.

At the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Spain (IPCE) there are 10 daguerreotypes. Stands out the portrait of a ballerina with castanets. Another portrait is signed by Lorichon and Jouque in 1851. It is also very interesting the portrait of another young woman, dated August 13, 1844, attributed to daguerreotypist Manuel Herrero, and restored in 2015.
The daguerreotypes are photographic objects of high worth and their effective assembly systems have favored their conservation. The restoration of the glass and resealing of the daguerreotype SB9996 intensify the value of the piece.
