    Notes musicals i paraules existeixen només quan les escoltem en el temps present. La percepció d’aquest fet les fa existir, com la seva existència ens retorna la percepció de la nostra pròpia existència. La percepció artística és conscient de la seva existència en si mateixa i de fer existir en el temps.

    Musical notes and words only exist whenever we listen to them in the present time. The perception of this fact makes them exist, and their existence brings to us the perception of our existence. Artistic perception is aware of itself, of the fact of existing and the fact of bringing about existence.
