En este artículo se estudiará uno de las características más importantes de la vanguardia literaria en los escritos del narrador chileno Juan Emar, que se refiere a la inmensa variedad de materiales y a la hibridez incluida en cada uno de sus textos, diversidad que incorpora un sinfín de recursos y modificaciones en relación a la literatura tradicional, la cual se imponía en el campo cultural en los inicios de esta corriente artística, es decir, durante los primeros años del siglo XX.

In this article we will study one of the most important characteristics of the literary avant-garde in the writings of the Chilean narrator Juan Emar, which refers to the immense variety of materials and hybridity included in each of his texts, a diversity that incorporates a host of resources and modifications in relation to traditional literature, which was imposed in the cultural field at the beginning of this artistic trend, that is, during the first years of the 20th century.
