Resumen de Salud mental en la agenda de las Ciencias Sociales cubanas: convergencias y limitaciones para un punto de partida

En la reflexion que se presenta se intenta llamar la atención sobre la necesidad de visualizar y reorientar la investigacion cientifica social hacia el analisis de los factores macro y microsociales que influyen en padecimientos de salud asociados a trastornos mentales. Se apuntan las limitaciones epistemologicas y metodologicas de las investigaciones que se han desarrollado en este campo y se da un breve acercamiento al estado de la investigacion sobre esta problemática en Cuba. La relación dialéctica que se establece entre este tipo de padecimientos y otras problematicas sociales como la pobreza, la marginalidad y la exclusión social, demanda del esfuerzo conjuto de cientificos sociales y biomédicos para la comprensión, ,prevención, tratamiento y rehabilitación, de las personas que sufren diversos trastornos mentales.

In the reflexion that here is present, is intend made an appeal about the necessary of to see and to direct the investigation social scientific to the analysis of the factors social macro and micro than influence in ailment of health link to mental disorder. In this article appoint the epistemological and methodological limitations of the research that in this field is development and explain briefly the state of the research about this problematic in Cuba. The dialectic relation between mental disorder and others problematic how the poverty, marginality, and the social exclusion demand of the effort of social and biomedical scientific for the compression, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of the people that suffer different mental disorder.
