Resumen de El doble en la narrativa hispanoamericana

En el presente artículo se pretende abordar la figura del doble (doppel gänger) y lo que ello implica en la indagación sobre la propia identidad y psicología del ser humano. Para ello, primero se hará un breve recorrido por la historia de este inquietante ser y finalmente se verá cómo ha aparecido reflejado en la narrativa hispanoamericana a través de las obras de cuatro autores: Adolfo Bioy Casares, Jorge Luis Borges, Julio Cortázar y Carlos Fuentes.

The aim of this article is to present an approach to the figure of the double (doppelgänger) and the implications it has to the research of human identity and psychology. This will be done by carrying out a small tour through the history of this disturbing being and in the end it will be examine how this creature has been addressed in the works of four authors from the Latin American literature: Adolfo Bioy Casares, Jorge Luis Borges, Julio Cortázar and Carlos Fuentes.
