La problemática militar en Marbella en el reinado de Felipe IV.

    En el primer tercio del siglo XVII, los problemas tanto económicos como militares de la Monarquía Hispánica hicieron que se recurriese al sistema de milicias en más de una ocasión, no solo como unidad defensivo-disuasoria, si no que se buscaba unirlas a las tropas de pago o soldados. En el presente artículo trato la problemática a nivel administrativo por la jurisdicción civil del corregidor entre la jurisdicción militar del Capitán General de la costa del Reino de Granada por el mando en caso de rebato de la milicia de la ciudad de Marbella, y por otro lado los conflictos sociales entre las tropas con soldada y los civiles, y los problemas para poder juzgar a dichos soldados por su fuero especial militar.

    In the first third of the seventeenth century, both economic and military problems of the Spanish Monarchy made recourse to the militia system on more than one occasion, not only as a defensive-deterrent unit, but it sought to unite with the payment troops or soldiers. In this article I approach the problem in a administratively level by civil jurisdiction of the mayor between the military jurisdiction of the General Captain of the coast of the Kingdom of Granada for the control in case of tocsin of the militia from the town of Marbella, and secondly the social conflicts between the welded troops and civilians, and the problems in order to judge these soldiers for their special military jurisdiction.
