This paper presents a part of an archaeological research project focused on the study of the first human occupations between Eresma and Riaza rivers (Central Spain). In this work, we show the first results of the geoarchaeological analysis of the Abrigo del Molino karstic deposit (Eresma river, Segovia). It includes a sedimentological and geoarchaeological analysis of the site. Also, a preliminary analysis of lithics and faunal remains documented in the profile of the rockshelter was developed. It is important to highlight the presence of a flint mousterian assemblage which includes levallois knapping method. Finally, we present the results of an OSL dating collected at the top of the archaeological sequence, which lets us to asign it to Middle Paleolithic period.
