This study examines the process of deglaciation of the Western Massif of the Picos de Europa through field work and the realization of geomorphological mapping, sedimentary records and absolute datings of 14C. Notably, we have identified four main glacial stages: máximum advance (LGM), retreat and stabilization from the maximum advance (LGM), Late Glacial and Little Ice Age. Have also been obtained minimum ages of 18,075 ± 425 cal BP for the maximum advance stage and 11,150 ± 900 cal BP for the stage II (retreat and stabilization from the maximum advance). The study of sedimentary records will reveal the environmental conditions prevailing since the deglaciation of the massif.
