The aim of this paper is to reflect, starting from an empirical investigation, possible contributions of semiotic studies to the theory of justice. We underline the importance of incorporating the knowledge of the practices related to justice to the study of signfIcances, from the point of view of the analysis of social discourse.
This paper establishes some conceptual relationships between the development of cultural studies, focusing on semiotics and political philosophy.
