Resumen de A construção do corpo brasileiro no Carnaval

  • The present article discusses the construction of the Brazilian body during Carnival from a historical point of view and establishes its development in three periods of different social and political context: a) the end of Imperial era (1889); b) from that time to the late 1920’s, and c)from the early 30’s to our days. The aim is to show how the construction of the body during Carnival is in a continuous process of transformation, according to the period of its celebration.
