Resumen de El nonágono semiótico: un ícono diagramático y tres niveles de iconicidad

Claudio Guerri

  • The article deals with applied semiotics. It keeps a coherent logic-semiotic relation with Peirce proposal, while it doesn’t stress a theoretic exegesis, but promotes the operative possibilities of the theory. Based on the nine Peircean triadic categories, a diagrammatic icon is built: the semiotic nonagon, an operative model that enables systematic research in different areas. Even if in the article, the semiotic nonagon is presented in relation to the concept of architecture and architectonicity, this operative model has been verified in different theoretical and maket research investigations. Furthermore, with the semiotic nonagon, the three possible iconicity levels in graphic language are demonstrated and so, the necessity and specificity of a new graphic language, the TSD.
