  • Resumen
    • The main objective of this work is developing step by step the geometric drawing of the windows of Cordoba’s minarets (Spain). For this purpose, we have used basic geometric elements such as circumferences. Furthermore, the measures used were always in cubits, the type of units used during the Islamic period. This paper shows that there is a sketch design for minarets’ windows using circles and cubits as some basic elements for the design. Thus, from circles, intersections and re-markable points we are able to carry out the design of a window which will have the same dimensions as those currently exiting in the minarets of the Church of Santiago, Córdoba and the Church of St. Juan de los Caballeros, Córdoba.
